Undergraduate Computing Facility

UCF Lounge

The Undergraduate Computing Facility (UCF) is a restricted access computer lab for the exclusive use of Chemical Engineering and Engineering Chemistry students. A significant amount of course work, project work and group work gets performed here. Additionally it acts as a gathering point for the undergraduate students for more than just course work; with the attached lounge it has become a social center for the students as well. The ChemEng and EngChem clubs work hard to maintain the space as a place that is inviting to all students. With the growing enrollments in Chemical Engineering and Engineering Chemistry the size of the demand on the resources in the UCF has increased. Two years ago the number of computers in the UCF was increased from 36 to 42. Every two years the computers in the facility are refreshed to keep the UCFR at the fore front of technology.
